HR Operations Director Nelt Group

As HR operations director you will be responsible for enhancing efficiency through standardization, automation, and digital transformation, as well as for elevating the quality of HR services across all markets and companies within the Nelt Group, leading team of three direct reports, 15 in total.

The position ensures smooth, accurate, and timely execution of HR operational processes (personnel administration and payroll), in full compliance with legal regulations and internal policies. Lead, develop and oversee initiatives for the digitalization of HR processes within HR Operations, in line with the Nelt Group Ascend 2030 strategy.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations and Service Models

  • Ensure smooth execution of HR operational processes: personnel administration and payroll.
  • Ensure legal compliance of processes and documentation.
  • Standardize processes across all markets, elevate service levels, and ensure unified practice within the Nelt Group.
  • Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of employee data within the HRIS.

Digital Transformation and HRIS Development

  • Identify opportunities for digitalization and automation, introduce innovative digital solutions, and monitor global HR technology trends.
  • Evaluate, recommend and oversee the development of HR technologies aimed at improving processes and data quality.

Change Management and System Integration

  • Coordinate change management activities to ensure successful implementation of new software solutions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of communication plans, training plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations)

Process Optimization and Analytics

  • Continuously improves operational processes through automation, simplification, and the application of technologies.
  • Ensure continuous enhancement of HR reporting and analytics, with a focus on automation and data quality.
  • Secure consistent collection and monitoring of key HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

 

Vendor and External Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with vendors, contracts, and performance of external service providers.
  • Oversee service delivery in line with the agreed scope and quality.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in HR operations, shared services, and process optimization within a large organization.
  • Strong expertise in HR digitalization, HRIS systems, automation, and data-driven decision making.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and scale HR service delivery models across multiple business units.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive transformation, manage change, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
