The Director of Talent & Organizational Development will design and lead strategic initiatives in talent acquisition, talent management, learning, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with Nelt’s Ascend2030 strategy. The role covers all 12 Nelt markets and focuses on building future capabilities, strengthening a culture of belonging, and delivering an outstanding employee experience — while ensuring the organization attracts and recruits the right talent at scale.
Nelt already has a strong talent development team with a proven track record in development, including talent turnover below 4% YoY, 10 employer branding awards last year, and an eNPS of 85. We are looking forward to creating new successes together.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute talent, acquisition, learning, and organizational development strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and high performance.
- Build the skills and mindset where succession planning becomes a leadership norm and priority.
Talent Acquisition & Attraction
- Assess and enhance current recruitment processes, tools, and practices.
- Design efficient, scalable talent acquisition processes that deliver strong candidate experience.
- Drive talent attraction initiatives to secure top talent for critical and high-volume roles.
- Upgrade recruitment technologies, assessment tools, and analytics.
- Strengthen Nelt’s position as an employer of choice.
Talent Management & Development
- Identify and manage critical skills and high-potential employees.
- Design succession planning, leadership academies, and talent pipeline programs.
- Ensure retention of top talent and strengthen internal mobility.
Learning & Capability Building
- Define organizational competency frameworks and the future skills agenda.
- Oversee the design and implementation of training, mentoring, and coaching programs.
- Introduce innovative learning solutions (digital, microlearning, AI-driven tools).
- Measure ROI and impact of learning initiatives through KPIs and analytics.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Enhance organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Drive initiatives to strengthen belonging, recognition, and collaboration.
- Align talent acquisition and L&D initiatives with the employee journey and engagement strategy.
Governance & Budget Management
- Manage budgets, external providers, and key initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Organizational Development roles.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end recruitment process design, attraction strategies, and managing high-volume hiring.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align people initiatives with business outcomes.
- Strong analytical, innovative, and problem-solving skills.
- High emotional intelligence and proven change management capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar.
